Sickle Cell Disease of Illinois Scholarships

SCDAI's consciousness of the benefits of education for every American, has motivated it to help provide scholarships for sickle cell patients who desire to continue serious study beyond high school.

To qualify for a scholarship, an applicant must (1) have one of the sickle cell diseases, (2) be an Illinois resident, and (3) need financial assistance.

SCDAI is grateful for the long-term support the scholarship program has received from Kraft Foods and from the national and local chapters of Ronald McDonald Children's Charities. Their investment in these young people benefits the community as well as the individual students.
