Fund Raising

The majority of SCDAI’s funding is raised through special events and voluntary contributions. These fundraising events are extremely critical to our goal of improving the lives of those suffering from sickle cell disease. SCDAI is deeply indebted to those individuals, corporations, churches, sorority and fraternity groups and other organizations who support us through donations of either money or volunteer services.

We are especially grateful to those employees who contribute through payroll deductions and to those employers who make it possible for these workers to donate to SCDAI through this vehicle. You, our donors, represent every aspect of what is good in America. Whether from civic, religious and community groups and organizations or from the business world, you make it possible for SCDAI to try to help ease the pain of sickle cell sufferers.
